The Ibero-American Association is a non-profit organization established in 1978 and legally registered as “Perkumpulan Ibero-Amerikana” in May of 2006.  Their charity work is aimed at improving the living conditions of those less fortunate in the Jakarta metropolitan area.

In order to fulfill their mission, they organize a variety of fund raising events throughout the year, the most important one of which is the Annual Charity Latin Ball.  The theme for this year’s Latin Ball will be the soccer world cup that will take place during the summer of next year in one of member countries, Brazil.

The Ibero-American Association’s Charity Annual Latin Ball “The Cup 2013” will be held on Saturday November 16th, 2013, from 6:00 pm until 3:00 am (November 17th), at the Mutiara Ballroom of the Gran Meliá Jakarta Hotel.

The expected attendance will be up to 650 guests from all over the world including Ibero-American, European and Asian countries and of course, Indonesia.

The event is directed toward executives in high positions in multinational, international and local companies, as well as diplomats and high-level government officials.

The event itself will be a glamorous black tie Gala, featuring a Latin music live band, a central show by artists flown in exclusively for the night, raffles, games live and silent auctions.
There will be cocktails served at the beginning of the event, followed by a sit-down five-course dinner, free flow of wine and loads of dancing.

And last but not least, 100% of the funds raised will go to the Ibero-American Association’s Charity activities and social work.
