A new online resource, IndonesianLuxury.com offering art and design solutions was launched on 27 July 2017. Founded by Deborah Iskandar, the website is a curated marketplace for Indonesian art pieces, interior items and antiques along with directory for architects, interior designers, furnishing suppliers, art galleries, and properties in Indonesia. Aimed for the high society, all members have been carefully selected to cater to exclusive and sophisticated tastes. The website also features a follow function, allowing customers to see new pieced and projects from their favorite artists or companies. Relationship managers can recommend a comprehensive and cohesive look for the customers’ rooms.
The launch was celebrated with “Taste”, a pop up restaurant at Art Jakarta, Ritz-Carlton Pacific Place Jakarta until 30 July 2017. It serves as the perfect example of Indonesian Luxury’s vision, challenging the limits of what can be called ‘art’ and blurring the lines between art and design. The design of this restaurant is the brainchild of Domisilium Studio, incorporating a vibrant mural by Balinese artist Sinta Tantra and the beautiful conceptual culinary of Chef Yann Lejard. Taste is also supported by ISA Art Advisory, Escalier Interior Indonesia, TACO and LAFLO, Sapta and Aman Tirta.
An exhibition by Indonesian Luxury and Moie titled “Beyond Art and Design” can be visited at Moie Pacific Place Level 1 on 28 July 2017 from 15:00-17:00, featuring a range of works from Western modern to Asian contemporat and photography.
