As in previous years, Jakarta Fashion Week enlivened by a collection of regional designers who present the hallmark of their hometown beauty.
The city of Malang which is known for its panoramic beauty and beaches, this time presenting three best designers and their fabulous collections with the theme ‘the beauty of Malang’s beaches’.
These three designers are Kiki Mahendra with a collection of “Seaside” inspired by Balekambang Beach, the inspiration which taken from sand, wave, clouds, shells, pearls, fish scales embodied in the beauty of Muslim night dresses.
Elma Faricha with the theme “Seagara” which makes the beauty of the southern sea of Malang becomes the inspiration of her creation poured in the Winter collection with simple cutting and timeless design. The domination of navy blue, beige, ash and red color describes the beauty of sea and surrounding elements . While the collection of Agus Sunandar takes the inspiration of boat as a tool of fishermen working around the beach with a basic design using the color gray and black rock and using linen fabric with a strong textured woven.
