Grand Mercure Jakarta Harmoni, the first Grand Mercure in Indonesia since 2012 with total of 483 rooms and a strong market leader in MICE business in the area, to welcome Mr. Djulkarnain as the new General Manager in February 2019. Before joining GMJH, his previous assignment as General Manager was with Menara Peninsula hotel Jakarta and almost 20 years of extensive experiences in hospitality industry with AccorHotels from Ibis, Novotel, Mercure and cluster brands in Indonesia and abroad. He received scholarship opportunity and graduated from Ecole des Arts Culinaries et de Hotellerie de Lyon in France for Hotel Management in 2000 and with eCornell for Highly Performing Leader Modules in 2014.

Pak Djul, he usually called by staff and associates confidents that GMJH is still a leading hotel in the area. It is shown by last year performance and from the first 2 months in 2019 resulted with the highest in occupancy and ADR although facing a political year with presidential election. He is also confident to cater other potential overseas market, such as China, Japan, Korea and the Halal tourism market from Middle East and Malaysia. In GMJH with Executive Chef Zippo and the culinary team, serves various menu selection from Western, International, Chinese and Indonesian cuisine, processed from high quality and Halal certified products and ingredients to cater all guests for leisure, business, conferences, wedding or any other events.
