
Following the success of sister company Berrybenka’s omni-channel strategy, modest fashion brand Hijabenka opens its first retail store in Kota Kasablanka, Jakarta. This move is in line with Hijabenka’s business strategy to shift from an e-commerce/marketplace service to become its own fashion brand.
CEO of PT Berrybenka, Jason Lamuda also said during the press conference that Hijabenka has displayed significant growth, nearly 150% each year. Now, collections are developed by in-house designers. Gita Prisilfa, Brand Manager Hijabenka said, “We will also collaborate with renowned local modest fashion designers such as Buttonscarves, Aleza and several others.” A new collection will be launched every two weeks, ensuring that customers can always find something new for daily wear, formal events and special occasions.
They can order from the website and pick it up from the store, or checking the collection online first before trying it on to make sure it fits well. The store’s grand opening was held on 27 April 2019, with trunk show, special promotions, performance by Ciki Fawzi and inviting Analisa Widyaningrum as Hijabenka’s muse.
