Tissot,  the official and trusted Official Timekeeper of a range of sporting events all over the world since 1938, proudly announced the extension of the partnership with the International Basketball Federation (FIBA). This additional chapter in the partnership underlines Tissot’s passion for sport in general and basketball in particular. With FIBA, Tissot is truly a part of the game, doing what is best-timing.

Tissot has supported FIBA since 2008, which represents 212 National Federations, as Official Timekeeper, providing precision timing systems for its major tournaments.

The new partnership brings additional benefits, including Tissot precision timing technology, in the form of shot clocks to key international basketball competitions. The FIBA Women’s Basketball World Cup 2022 in Australia and FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023 in the Philippines, Japan and Indonesia are just two of the major tournaments that will benefit from Tissot timing.

As well as on-court timing, Tissot has also upped the digital presence in basketball, continuing to support the channels and platforms that connect fans to their favourite sport. These include the fan-favourite FIBA mobile app and the much-loved Buzzer Beater videos that capture the most exciting on-court action.

Tissot will also be recognising and celebrating the Most Valuable Player in each FIBA tournament, presenting the MVP with a Tissot watch to mark their achievement and serve as an enduring reminder of a magic moment.

Tissot has also created several special edition collections dedicated to this exciting sport.
