The Singapore Tourism Board (STB) continues to strive to maintain the positive growth momentum for the post-pandemic Singapore tourism industry. One of the efforts made is to establish strategic partnerships with various partners in Indonesia, such as the Association of Indonesian Travel Agents (ASTINDO) and GDP Venture. The signing of the Memoranda of Cooperation (MoC) with ASTINDO was carried out on 12 April 2023 at JW Marriot Hotel Surabaya, and with GDP Venture on 13 April 2023 at The Tribrata, Jakarta. STB believes that collaboration with strategic partners in Indonesia will strengthen Singapore’s position as a dynamic tourist destination for Indonesian tourists.

STB enters into an innovative partnership with GDP Venture, a venture builder focused on commercial enterprises, consumer products, media & entertainment, and solutions. The focus of this collaboration is to overcome the challenges of the post-pandemic tourism sector including fulfilling all aspects of reviving tourism, starting from travel inspiration, buying products, and sharing travel experiences. The partnership with ASTINDO is a commitment to working with travel intermediaries which plays an important role in the ecosystem to enhance Singapore tourism promotion in Indonesia.

Revisiting Singapore’s Vibrant

STB continues to strive to increase Singapore’s attractiveness as a destination for tourism by supporting the development of new products and experiences. One example is Singapore’s new bird park, Bird Paradise, which is about to be launched in a soft opening on May 8, 2023. Visitors will be able to enjoy interesting experiences, including encounters with rare birds from various parts of the world. Bird Paradise is located in the same Mandai Wildlife Reserve area, also home to the Night Safari, River Wonders and the Singapore Zoo.With a strong focus on conservation and education, Bird Paradise will also take visitors through the centers transitions connecting the various habitats in which they can learn about unique avian world. Apart from that, Singapore has other recent attractions such as the Peranakan Museum which was recently renovated, as well as upcoming ones such as integrated sports facilities Trifecta, Sentosa Sensoryscape, and the Disney Cruise Ship that will set sail from Singapore in 2025.

Visitors can also enjoy a colorful calendar of holiday and MICE events every year. Among them is Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience at Resorts World Sentosa (1 March – 1 October 2023), Wellness Festival Singapore (17 June – 9 July 2023), Singapore Food Festival (19 – 30 July 2023), Grand Prix Season Singapore (8 – 17 September 2023), and many more. In addition, Singapore is the host several international MICE events, such as Asia Tech x Singapore (6 – 9 June 2023), FIND – Design Fair Asia 2023 (21 – 23 September 2023), and Singapore Fintech

Festival (15 – 17 November 2023). In February 2023, Singapore was certified as a destination

sustainable based on the Global Sustainable Tourism Council destination criteria (GSTC) after being the first country to implement a certification process at the National level.

Along with the post-pandemic tourism conditions, STB is also planning to revive the Passion Made Possible brand campaign to replace the SingapoReimagine campaign launched during the recovery phase. The refreshed campaign aims to inspire travel Indonesian tourists by showing how Singapore can change ordinary moments into extraordinary experiences.
