G-Star has found the ultimate blue in RAW Mazarine, which was inspired by Toile de Chine, a fabric that pre-dates denim. Today, RAW Mazarine is the ultimate double dyed blue of G-Star. The said key color can be found throughout the entire G-Star collection, whereas the RAW Mazarine collection features indigo double dyed for the warp and the weft of the fabric.
The range of products for women features Hunter 5620 Overcoat in Fray Moleskin creating crisp and robust looking with left hand twill in distinct blue giving a soft hand feel. The RAW Radar Jacket with bellowed pockets is made from the same fabric. Meanwhile, the contemporary 3301 Low Tapered comes in Mazarine RAW. It has a deeply saturated blue black base with a weft that is black yarn dyed and the warp is indigo with sulphur black on top.
This season’s women look by G-Star is all about playing with different volumes. G-Star combines a beyond skinny denim with oversized jackets in deep blue colors.
The denim highlight is the 3301 Jeg Skinny, the newest G-Star skinny fit boasting an ultimate stretch. Not only does this fabric provide the optimal stretch percentage, it also features a very high recovery, which means it can always return to its original shape. Thanks to the waistband, which is also made using the fabric, the denim fits the waist perfectly.
The Polar XL jacket is the opposite of the 3301 Jeg Skinny with an oversized fit and bold details, such as the square pocket. It accentuates the feminine body by closing the waistband. For some mix and match tips, the skinny denim will go well with a sturdy parka from the extensive G-Star jacket range. Highlights include the military inspired, washed down Rovic Parka and Polar Duty Parka.
