In Japan, the annual custom of appreciating cherry blossoms is called Hanami. Families and co-workers meet for leisurely feasts under blossoming trees and enjoy the beauty of sakura flowers that bloom for a few weeks in the year. The afternoon tea affair celebrates the spirit of Hanami with a delightful burst of color and flavor.
Set in airy and elegant surroundings, guests can delight in the repertoire of gorgeous sweet creations delicately crafted in the colors of spring – cherry pink, green leaf, and touches of sunshine yellow. Some delightful creations include Sakura Choux Bombe, Sakura Frangipane, Sakura Lychee Ball, and Cherry Choux, sure to win every dessert lover’s heart.
The savory lineup includes the rich Salmon Lollipop, Wagyu Beef Slider in a pink bun, and Beetroot Mousse Tartlet with beetroot crème cheese, asparagus, and chuka wakame, which goes well with the Sakura-flavoured tea by TWG. Also on the menu are teatime classics such as open sandwiches, Madeline, and light-as-air Sconces.
Guests can indulge in the Sakura Afternoon Tea set paired with a fine selection of teas or coffee from 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm daily for IDR 488,000++ per set.
