As part of the Ascott CARES initiative and commitment to environmental sustainability, Citadines Antasari Jakarta held Earth Hour event on Saturday evening, March 28, 2026, throughout the Citadines Antasari Jakarta area. The event, attended by associates and guests, lasted for 60 minutes in the lobby area.
During the event, all lights in public areas were turned off for one hour in support of the global Earth Hour movement, which aims to raise awareness of the importance of energy conservation and environmental stewardship.
In line with Citadines Antasari Jakarta’s signature brand, “For the Love of Coffee,” this year’s Earth Hour event featured a sustainable decor concept using coffee beans and various recycled materials, such as bottle caps, plywood, used paper, LED strips, and discarded items from the hotel. Furthermore, to ensure safety and sustainability, all lighting during the event uses reusable battery-powered candles, eliminating the need for open flames or excessive electricity consumption.
During Earth Hour, guests in the lobby can enjoy canapés and free-flow coffee in a warm and intimate setting, creating a unique experience while raising awareness of the importance of environmental protection.

With the concept of ‘For the Love of Coffee,’ we present sustainable decorations made from recycled materials directly by associates using discarded materials from the hotel grounds.
