Jimbaran Puri, A Belmond Hotel, Bali, welcomes the spirit of Easter with a celebration that blends the familiar joy of the holiday with the artistry and traditions of Bali. Set along one of the island’s most tranquil shores, the resort invites guests and visitors to gather for an evening where festive flavors, local craftsmanship, and warm island hospitality come together in a uniquely Balinese interpretation of Easter.

At Jimbaran Puri, Easter is celebrated with a gentle local touch, where traditions from different cultures meet and take on new colors. Inspired by the timeless Easter tradition of egg painting, the celebration also draws from tipat taluh, a delicate Balinese craft of hand-woven coconut leaves shaped to resemble an egg. This small yet meaningful symbol reflects the spirit of renewal and creativity shared by both traditions, a reminder that celebrations can travel across cultures while remaining rooted in the artistry of the local community.

Reflecting this cultural exchange, an Easter Sunday BBQ Dinner by the sea will take place on Sunday, 5 April 2026, inviting guests to gather for a relaxed seaside evening centred around a family-style menu that celebrates both festive comfort and the richness of Indonesian cuisine. The dinner begins with Pangsit Ayam Keju, Indonesian-style chicken and cheese dumplings served with sweet chilli sauce, followed by a comforting bowl of Soto Sapi Betawi, a Jakarta-style beef soup infused with coconut milk, glass noodles, tomatoes, carrots, boiled quail eggs, and crispy shallots.

At the heart of the evening is a generous charcoal grill selection for two, showcasing vibrant seafood and grilled favorites. King prawns are prepared with chilli, garlic, and cilantro, while butter fish fillet is paired with tomato sambal. Pork loin satay arrives glazed in peanut sauce, alongside spring chicken brushed with honey BBQ sauce. The grilled dishes are accompanied by fragrant turmeric rice and seasonal vegetables finished with chimichurri.

To conclude the evening, desserts celebrate tropical sweetness with Indonesian-style coconut and palm sugar crepes, a delicate tropical fruit tartlet, and refreshing coconut pandan ice cream.

The Easter Sunday BBQ Dinner is priced at IDR 650,000++ per person, and is open to both in-house guests and outside visitors.
